Job Description:
You should have three to six years of IT job experience now in the security field. IT Security Managers direct the work of security-related employees. They plan, coordinate, and implement the organization’s information security. They are increasingly involved with the upkeep, maintenance, and security of networks. They analyze the computer and information needs of their organizations from an operational and strategic perspective and determine immediate and long-range security requirements. They assign and review the work of their subordinates and stay abreast of the latest security technology to ensure the organization does not have a security leak.

IT Security Managers manage security resources for their organizations. They often work under the Chief Security Officer (CSO) and plan and direct the work of subordinate security technology employees. These managers ensure the availability, continuity, and security of data and information technology services in their organizations.
